 Expected Schedule

Registration will open before your ceremony.

Registration will close 15 minutes before the ceremony start time, however we recommend you arrive as early as possible to ensure you have time to make your way to the venue and take your seats before the breifing.

Please bring a photo ID with you in order to register. At registration you will be given a red card with your full name and phonetic name spelling. The red card will be read out whilst you are receiving your award on stage. Please keep your red card with you at all times as you cannot be presented without it.

Gowning will take place downstairs in the Windsor Building.

Please have your booking details and red card to hand. The gowning assistants will need these to find your gown.

Please ask your guests to wait outside while you collect your gown.

Graduands and guests are encouraged to explore the food and drink vendors available on campus before their ceremony.

If you arrive in good time, we recommend you visit the photography studios and merchandise stands after collecting your gown to avoid queues after the ceremony. You can find out more information about photos and merchandise here.

The opening of the ceremony venue will be announced by the Fanfare Guards.

Please make your way to the ceremony venue no later than 15 minutes before the ceremony start time.

Guests and graduands will be sat seperately inside the ceremony venue, and graduands will be told their seat number.

Please note that while every effort will be made to accommodate late arrivals, to avoid disruption and ensure the ceremony starts on time, entry may not be permitted.

Ceremony commences.
The ceremony will conclude, and graduands and guests will be free to enjoy taking photographs with friends and supporters before their department photography and reception.

Departmental photographs will take place after the ceremony.

The departmental photography times will be announced at the end of the ceremony.

Guests are welcome to join graduates in the south quad.

Once your photos have been taken, we invite you to raise a glass with your guests at your reception.
