  • Date08 July 2022

The results of the national survey of student experience have just come out and Classics has received 100% scores.

Our graduating students were asked various questions and these are the answers they provided:

  • Staff are good at explaining things: 100% agree.
  • Staff have made the subject interesting: 100% agree
  • The course is intellectually stimulating: 100% agree
  • My course has provided me with opportunities to explore ideas or concepts in depth: 100% agree
  • The library resources (e.g. books, online services and learning spaces) have supported my learning well: 100% agree
  • Overall, I am satisfied with the quality of the course: 100% agree.

Next week these students graduate having been through the covid epidemic with us. We will celebrate and pay tribute to their success, in spite of everything that has been thrown at them. And we will also celebrate how everyone in the Department has been so deeply committed to producing the best and most supportive learning we can.
