College awards for outstanding teaching for Dr Erica Rowan and Peter Olive

Lecturer in Classical Archaeology Dr Erica Rowan and postgraduate student Peter Olive have both been awarded College Excellence Teaching Prizes for their outstanding teaching.

In the Department of Classics we're proud of our outstanding teaching and we're delighted that the efforts of two of our colleagues have recently been recognised by the College with the award of teaching prizes.

Dr Rowan's College Excellence Teaching Prize was awarded for her use of multi-sensory experiences and object-based learning to enhance student engagement in her teaching. You can find out more about her hands-on teaching methods here.

Peter Olive was awarded his College Postgraduate Teaching Prize for his focus on inclusivity in Greek and Latin Language and Literature through both teaching and course design. Read more about his innovative teaching here.
