Geopressure Uncertainties in Salt Systems

Gerardo Gaitan had the privilege to present at the Geological Society of London a case study of drilling operations, geomechanics and geopressures in the deep waters of the Gulf of Mexico. The aim of the presentation was to share good practices, innovative approaches and knowledge in formation pressure and geomechanics.

Gerardo’s presentation, “Geopressure Uncertainties in Salt Systems 101 – Academia to Industry”, was observed by over 100 geoscientists and petroleum engineers in a 2-day conference titled Operations Geoscience Adding Value, by the Petroleum Group.
