ISG Alumni Conference 2018

Our 6th ISG Alumni Conference took place on 25 June 2018.

On Monday 25th June, we once again welcomed over 70 Alumni to our Royal Holloway campus to enjoy a day filled with presentations, food and networking opportunities - alongside a full programme and a diverse range of presentations. The majority of our alumni students hold key security positions in organisations around the world, and are always interested in collaborating with RHUL and employing our students.

Reza Hedayat: On breaking DLT-based Ecosystems
Dimitrios Patsos: Internet of Everything and Cultural Cyber Security Challenges
Paul De Luca: Addressing our Top Threats-an objective approach
Char Sample: Why fake news matters in cyber security and what we can do about it

Robert Carolina was our keynote speaker. Robert is an Executive Director for the Institute for Cyber Security innovation and Senior Visiting Fellow of the Information Security Group at Royal Holloway. He currently teaches the 'Legal & Regulatory Aspects of Information Security' module on the MSc Information Security course. He is also a Solicitor of the Supreme Court of England & Wales.

The title of his talk was 'Closing of the cyberspace frontier: 10 years on'.
