LMA Seminar, Dr Simon Durrant

Sleep-dependent emotional memory consolidation and depression.

A growing body of evidence points to the role of REM sleep in the consolidation of emotional memory.  REM sleep dysfunction is also implicated in depression.  Could these two processes be linked?  In this talk I will discuss a model linking REM sleep, emotional memory consolidation and depression and present four empirical studies related to this.

For access to this seminar, please register here, a link will be sent to you within a few days of the talk. For later registrations, the link will be sent an hour before the start time.
