Professor Frank Keating is the study lead for newly published research on socially orientated recovery approaches for African and Caribbean men.

Men's research

The study led by Professor Frank Keating explored what socially orientated approaches to mental health recovery mean for African and Caribbean men. The study involved in depth interviews with African and Caribbean men. The findings from the study highlight the need to understand how broader societal issues affect mental distress. The study was funded by the National Institute for Health Research (NIHR). You can read more about the report here and download it here
