What is intercollegiate accommodation?
As part of the University of London, Royal Holloway has access to small number of rooms in intercollegiate halls of residence in central London that is available to full-time postgraduate students.
For the 2022/23 academic year, we will be able to offer townhouse accommodation in Garden Halls (located between Bloomsbury and Kings Cross, Central London) comprising single, self-catered rooms with shared facilities on 50-week contracts (11 September 2022 to 26 August 2023), costing approximately £255.15 per week.
Due to the limited number of places, intercollegiate accommodation is available on a first-come-first-served basis to full-time postgraduate students only.
When can I apply?
The application process for intercollegiate accommodation arranged through Royal Holloway for 2022/23 will open at 10am (GMT) on 7 April 2022. We will be able to continue to accept applications until all rooms are filled: submission of an application is not a guarantee that we will be able to make you an offer.

When will I hear on the outcome of my application?
Applications will be processed on a first-come-first-served basis. We will provide you with an update within four weeks of your application to let you know whether you can expect to receive an offer of intercollegiate accommodation, or if your application is being held on a waiting list.
