Get a feel for life at Royal Holloway on one of our Open Days. Look around campus, meet our students and teaching staff, and experience university life through talks, taster sessions and tours. Our Open Days are lively, interesting and informative.
As well as Open Days, we offer a range of tours, courses and visiting days so you can get to know what it’s like to study and live at Royal Holloway.
Once you've applied for a place here, you'll be invited to an Applicant Visit Day to get a closer look at your chosen department and life as a Royal Holloway student.

Open Day FAQs
Where can I park my car?
Parking is free for all guests at the Open Day and you will be directed to the nearest available car park upon entering the campus.
How do I get to Royal Holloway from the train station?
Our nearest train station is Egham, from which we will be running a free shuttle bus to and from campus throughout the day.
Do I need to print my ticket?
You don't need to print your ticket, simply turn up on the day and we will look up your ticket by the name you booked with.
Do my guests need tickets?
No, you won't need to book separate tickets for your guests. Do bring along any friends or family who you would like to share the day with, but please note that in some of our busier talks we may have to implement a one guest per visitor system.
Where can I see the programme for the day?
Our programme for the Autumn Open Days will be released shortly on this web page. It's a great idea to plan your day and have a think about the talks and zones you would like to visit, but don't worry as you do not have to book any sessions in advance.
How can I change my details on the Eventbrite booking system?
You can amend your booking by logging on to the Eventbrite website by clicking ‘Tickets’ from the drop-down menu under your name, select the ticket and then 'edit'. If you'd prefer, email email@example.com and we can do this for you.

Get a hands-on experience of your chosen course at one of our taster days. Discover our academics’ teaching methods, gain insight into the facilities available, and meet fellow students. Courses are free to attend and you can choose from a variety of subjects taking place.

Applicant visit days
Get an in-depth feel for what it’s really like to study your chosen course. These specially-tailored days feature department-specific activities, a tour of campus, a look around our accommodation, and a talk on student life. The day includes the opportunity to visit our Advice Hub and Parents' talks, as well as the chance to speak with students about their experiences of studying here and the opportunity to experience student life, as well as the opportunity to speak with students about their experiences of studying here.
