This scholarship is available as a tuition fee reduction and living costs contribution to the value of £12,000.
Am I eligible?
You will need to be a full-time student with Home/EU status studying MA Medieval Studies.
You will need to have achieved, or be on target to achieve, a 2:1 degree or higher.
You must also hold a conditional or unconditional offer to study MA Medieval Studies at Royal Holloway.
How do I apply?
Applications are now closed for 2020 entry. If you have applied we will let you know the outcome of your application from 15 July, 2020 onwards.
You must provide a supporting statement of no longer than 500 words. This should include:
- academic achievements you are particularly proud of
- why have you chosen to do the degree you have applied for
- how you plan to use this MA in your future research and career path and how will the scholarship help you achieve it
Your statement will be judged on how effectively and convincingly you respond to the above. ]
You must provide two written academic references (up to 200 words each). These must be from academics who have previously supported, taught or worked with you.
You will also need to ensure you have provided transcripts of your most recent qualifications before the scholarship application deadline.
Terms & conditions
The scholarship is £12,000 to cover tuition fees and a contribution towards living costs. The scholarship will offer full tuition fee reduction and the remainder will be paid directly as a contribution towards living costs. This scholarship is only available for one year of study. No additional payment is offered in any following years if the duration of the course is longer than one year.
