Provided by The ICAEW Foundation, this scholarship is for a talented but financially disadvantaged (a family income of circa £25,000 p.a.) school leaver, looking to study BSc Accounting and Finance.
The scholarship is a £12,000 cash award, £4,000 paid each year for the first three years of study.
Am I eligible?
Available for full time undergraduate students with Home or International fee status studying BSc Accounting and Finance (with or without a Year in Business) within the Department of School of Business and Management.
You must have achieved, or be predicted to achieve, high grades in A-level or equivalent and provide a strong scholarship statement.
Applications are assessed on previous education, work experience and achievements, academic interests and career objectives, as well as personal circumstances.
You will also need to hold a current conditional or unconditional offer to study at Royal Holloway before you can apply.
How do I apply?
Applications are submitted via our online system Royal Holloway Direct, where you will be able to complete your statement and upload any required documents including your grades transcript.
The deadline for applications is 1 September 2021.
You will need to supply a supporting statement of no more than 500 words, detailing your aptitude and future ambitions for this field of study and any other evidence as to why you should be selected.
Your statement will be judged on how effectively and convincingly you respond to the above.
Along with your statement, you should also provide answers to the following questions:
