Want to see what the Royal Holloway campus looks like at a time that suits you? These campus tours are led by a student ambassador live, allowing students to ask questions and see what campus is like on a normal day at university.

Ambassador Q and A

Hear from students at Royal Holloway themselves to see first hand what a student experience can look like. Ask current students questions, whether its course related or you want to know more about the sports and societies you can get involved in.

Student Life Talk

Hear from staff and students at Royal Holloway to understand differences between school and university and what to expect from university life.

Student outcomes:

  1. Understand the value of a degree in all terms (intellectual, cultural, financial, etc.)
  2. Confidence in the personal benefits attending university can bring them

We can offer safe and secure online calls for student mock interviews to give the opportunity to practice their interview skills and receive feedback.

Duration: Flexible and tailored to your school/college. Typically 10-15 minutes per student

Student outcomes:

  1. Possess adequate “career skills” such as interview technique, writing CV/application forms, identifying skills etc.
  2. Possess adequate ‘life skills’ such as time management, personal budgeting, etc.
  3. Commitment to education, learning and development

 

Receive one to one advice, for students that have already started their personal statement or need help getting going.

Duration: Typically 15-20 minutes per student

Student outcomes:

  1. Understand the application process for Higher Education
  2. Ability to write concisely and effectively about themselves to create a personal statement
  3. Belief in own ability to progress to Higher Education/other post-18 pathway
  4. Confidence in own subject knowledge and ability to study it at a university level

If you are applying you can book in a 1 to 1 with one of our team to discuss the application process, choosing the right course and support with writing your personal statement, as well as answering any questions you may have about the university.

Duration: Flexible and tailored to your school/college. Typically 15 - 20 minutes per student

Our Street Law sessions are inspired by similar interactive workshops pioneered in the US that help young people understand their rights. 

These exciting and dynamic sessions are delivered by current university students.
