Campus visit information and best dates
On campus
We can organise visits to campus that include meeting current students, exploring the campus facilities and taking part in engaging information and subject taster activities. We'll build a day with you choosing from existing activities or making something bespoke.
Duration: Half or full day. Typically 10:00 - 14:30
Delivered by: Royal Holloway staff and Student Ambassadors

Post-16 options

Students explore the range of options available to them after school and beyond to possible futures at university.
Duration: 45 - 60 minutes

What is university?

Find out what makes university different from school, meet current university students and discover the wide range of fascinating courses available to study.
Duration: 1 hour session | Can be offered as part of a full day with subject tasters and a campus tour
Delivered by: Royal Holloway staff and current undergraduate students
Student outcomes:

- Know about the academic, financial and pastoral support available within universities

Subject tasters
The Art of the Ad
In school/on campus
Join us as we explore and decode how advertisements use specific imagery, words and hidden messages to sell their products.
Subject crossover: Sociology, Art & Design, Media Studies, Business Studies and English
Duration: 60 - 90 minutes | mix with other sessions to create a longer day

Get Political
In school/on campus
Students will create their own political party and understand what really matters to them as they start to develop their own political ideas.
In this session students will understand the roles of political parties, analyse what makes political parties more or less successful and work in groups to create a party manifesto that represents them.
Subject crossover: Citizenship, Politics, English Language, Modern History
Duration: 60 - 90 minutes | mix with other sessions to create a longer day
