A bit about the course ...

Your experience

University is a place where you can develop the whole you, both in work and play. Exploring new interests, developing fresh skills and enjoying an active social life are important parts of being a student, and you don’t have to live on campus to get involved.

Going to university is exciting but, especially after the last couple of years, can feel like a daunting transition. As a friendly and caring community, we’re here to help you be the best you possible. Support is there in whatever aspect of your life you need it, to help you thrive.

Your employability

We'll prepare you for the modern workforce as a priority from day one. From the day you arrive, you'll have access to a programme called CVstac, a unique Royal Holloway approach to developing your employability long before you graduate. It's research based and embedded into everything we do inside and outside the classroom.

CVstac involves the 12 key meta skills which, according to research, everyone is required to develop to succeed in the modern world. We've built your experiences around them and CVstac will allow you to prove that you have them. So whether it's a part-time job to earn extra money, a placement, or that big graduate opportunity, you'll be ready on day one. We will ensure that you are, and support you along the way.
