Royal Holloway alumni mentoring

Our new online community platform, Royal Holloway Connect, brings together alumni from around the world to help support each other.

Making the transition from university to employment is daunting at the best of times, and these are not the best of times. Our 2020 graduates face significant challenges entering the job market amidst a global pandemic whose shockwaves will be felt for some time to come.

To help support these graduates, we are launching our new online alumni mentoring platform. Through Royal Holloway Connect, alumni can give practical and tangible support to our recent graduates.

Whether you're looking to be a mentor or a mentee all alumni can join Royal Holloway Connect by visiting

Why join Royal Holloway Connect?

The Royal Holloway Mentoring programme connects alumni from a range of industries with students and recent graduates in need of help and advice.

As an alumni mentor, you can choose the support you are able to offer, ranging from offering advice via email, checking a CV or application, to offering work experience. Mentees can then send you a requesting asking for your help.

Royal Holloway mentoring will initially support our recent graduates who completed their studies 2020 as mentees. As the platform develops current students will be given access to alumni mentors.

Alumni from all years are encouraged to join as mentors. Regardless of your level of professional experience, your experiences will be able to help and guide mentees.

By using Royal Holloway Connect, you can search for other alumni who have signed up based on what they studied, when they graduated and the industry they work in now. Alumni users can request to connect with each other, helping you build connections with alumni in your industry, or to find old friends you have lost contact with.

Royal Holloway has alumni living in 163 countries around the world. By joining Royal Holloway Connect you can find and connect with other alumni in your area.
