Finding the right place to live

Heading to university is exciting. Finding the right place to live will get you off to a good start. There are lots of options for you, both on and off campus so you can find a place that’s ideal for every stage of your studies.

Undergraduate halls

In halls you’ll meet your fellow students, make friends and get into university life. There’s a variety of accommodation available to suit a range of preferences and budgets - from the historic Founder’s Building, to our newest accommodation, the George Eliot townhouses. An offer of accommodation is guaranteed if you received your offer to study with us after 5 June 2019 and submit an accommodation application before midnight on 8 August 2019.

Postgraduate halls

Staying in halls will keep you connected to wider university life, while helping you make friends with students at a similar stage of study. A place in halls (not couples or family accommodation) is guaranteed if you apply by midnight on Sunday 14 July.
