Research Interests:
My research area is applied macroeconomics using Bayesian methods, particularly VAR and state space models. My recent research has applied these methods to labor market dynamics, immigration and economic growth, but I also work on monetary and fiscal policy and population dynamics. I am also interested in theoretical models of income distribution dynamics and social mobility. PhD candidates that have demonstrated excellent quantitative and statistical skills to an MSc level, have experience of research in applied macroeconomics, e.g. in their MSc dissertation, and a good knowledge of matlab, python or equivalent are preferred.
