Several of our collections include items which have been digitised and are available consult remotely.
The Elizabeth Jesser Reid correspondence project has involved the digitisation and transcription of a quantity of letters sent to Elizabeth Jesser Reid, the founder of Bedford College, and have been made available on a dedicated website https://ejrletters.omeka.net/. A volunteer project continues to work on the transcription of the Victorian handwritten letters to uncover conversations held between Mrs Reid and her close circle and open further research opportunities.
