Economics at Royal Holloway has risen a further 10 places in the Guardian University Guide 2023 and is now Top 5 for Economics in London!
Having moved up from 58th to 42nd place last year, Economics at RHUL has now improved further to 32nd place nationally and to 5th place for Economics in London!
The strong upwards trajectory in the Guardian League Tables reflects our excellent results in the National Student Survey earlier in the year. The NSS results placed Royal Holloway within the top quartile among Economics programmes in several key categories including "Learning opportunities", "Academic support", "Organisation and management", "Learning Resources", "Learning Community" and "Student voice".
In response to the positive NSS results, the Head of Department Professor Dan Anderberg commented: “I am very pleased to see that the strong partnership between our academic staff, our support staff, and our Economics students has been reflected in this very positive outcome. The results will spur our staff on to continue to find ways to improve our performance and to establish Royal Holloway as one of the best places in the UK for studying Economics."
