Become a Royal Holloway scholar and get help paying for your studies.
Our scholarships provide a cash award or a reduction in tuition fees which can help you fund your postgraduate study.
They are awarded competitively, usually based on your scholarship application statement and academic achievements.
You can apply for as many as you are eligible for, once you've received an offer to study with us. We recommend you submit your postgraduate application as soon as possible to give you time to apply for a scholarship.
Check the individual scholarships below for details on eligibility, applying and deadlines. Many of our scholarships are now open for applications for September 2023 entry, but come back soon if the one you're interested in isn't open yet!
Scholarships for the academic year 2022-23 (including January 2023 starters) are now closed.
If you're applying for a research degree, there are specific research scholarships available.
Alumni discounts
Royal Holloway graduates who apply for a postgraduate course automatically receive a 15% discount on tuition fees for the first year of study. There is no need to apply.
If you have graduated from another University of London institution you can receive a 10% discount on tuition fees (exemptions apply, see our scholarships terms and conditions).
