Tuition fee reduction of £1,000 in first year of study for students applying for Mathematics.

Two scholarships are available for a new undergraduate with Home or International fee status. 

The scholarship is named in honour of former Bedford College Mathematics academic Dr Geoffrey Kneebone, and was founded by two of his former students. 

The scholarship is offered as a £1,000 tuition fee reduction for the first year of study for full-time students.

Am I eligible?

  • Offer to study one of the following courses:
    • BSc Mathematics
    • MSci Mathematics
  • Achieved, or expected to achieve, A-level grades of ABB or equivalent.

How do I apply?

Applications for this scholarship have closed.

Please provide a supporting statement of no more than 400 words. You must include:

  • Academic achievements you are particularly proud of and why these really matter to you
  • Why you have chosen to do the degree you have applied for
  • What your future aspirations are and how the scholarship will help you to achieve your future goals 

Your statement will be judged on how effectively and convincingly you respond to the above.

Applications which exceed the word count will automatically be rejected.
