We offer integrated foundation year options across a wide range of our degree subjects, giving you the opportunity to enjoy an initial year of study before going on to your main degree.
You’ll pick up core skills and knowledge across a broad base of subjects, giving you confidence and helping you to feel prepared for studying at university-level.
Whether you’re going on to study a Humanities or Sciences degree, your foundation year will have dedicated modules delivered by subject experts, providing you with the understanding you’ll need to explore these concepts and areas of study at university level – even if it’s something you haven’t studied before.
Teaching in your foundation year will involve smaller group sessions as well as personal tutor time, so you will gain plenty of experience as well as confidence in what the learning experience at university is like. You’ll be fully part of our campus community from day one, meaning you can get involved and enjoy your time with us and everything it has to offer, right from the start.
