Professor Christos Tsinopoulos
Executive Dean of the School of Business and Management

Professor Christos Tsinopoulos is Executive Dean of the School of Business and Management, with a wealth of knowledge and experience in a range of areas, from engagement with external partners, businesses, and policy makers, to supporting interdisciplinary research and impact activities.
A strong advocate of impactful research on a global scale, Christos has been a trustee of the Society for the Advancement of Management, a member of the executive committee of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers' Manufacturing Excellence awards, and a visiting professor in universities in Greece (Athens), USA (Fuqua) and China (Harbin and Hunan). His work has been published in the top journals in the field of operations and technology management and is frequently funded by industrial partners nationally and internationally, to inform policy.

Professor Tom Wainwright
Head of our Department of Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship and Professor in Strategy and Entrepreneurship

Professor Tom Wainwright is an experienced leader in Higher Education, and the current Head of the Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship Department in the School of Business and Management at Royal Holloway, University of London.
Tom is a recognised expert in multiple academic disciplines. His areas of research expertise include entrepreneurship, particularly digital innovation, and real estate, specifically financialization, digitisation and ESG challenges. He retains an active research interest in future opportunities posed by aging populations. His work has been funded by a number of prestigious awarding bodies including the ESRC, British Academy, in addition to industry collaborators.
Dr Nisreen Ameen
Director of Digital Organisation and Society (DOS) Research Centre and Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) in Digital Marketing from our Department of Marketing

Dr Nisreen Ameen is an international expert and award-winning leader in digital marketing and artificial intelligence (AI) research, currently serving as Director of the Digital Organisation and Society (DOS) research centre at Royal Holloway, University of London. Her work provides valuable insights into how senior leaders and organisations can effectively integrate AI and other advanced technologies. Dr Ameen’s research has played a pivotal role in enhancing AI literacy, improving AI skills training, and developing responsible AI frameworks that align with business needs, benefiting businesses, policymakers, and underrepresented communities.
Dr Ameen has worked closely with senior management teams across sectors, focusing on aligning AI insights with practical business applications to drive growth and innovation. Recognised as one of the Top 100 Marketing Influencers in the UK, she frequently advises policymakers and business leaders on AI adoption, helping shape strategies that balance technological advancement with ethical responsibility. She has also secured significant funding for initiatives aimed at supporting SMEs in harnessing AI’s potential and improving digital inclusion. With a strong international profile, she frequently speaks at major conferences and industry panels, inspiring the next generation of scholars and industry leaders.
Professor Robert Fitzgerald
Professor of International Business in our Department of Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship

Professor Robert Fitzgerald is a Professor of International Business in the Department of Strategy, International Business and Entrepreneurship at the School of Business and Management at Royal Holloway, University of London. He is an expert in SMEs, multinational enterprise, international business, business organization, business and economic history, and the Chinese, Japanese, Korean and Asia economies. Previously, he has researched, been consulted by, and established links with governments, multinationals, businesses, and business associations from Europe, Japan, mainland China, Korea and Taiwan. I am currently being consulted by the Department of Business, Energy and Business Strategy and the Secretary of State on industrial strategy, Japanese government policy, and multinational enterprise.
