My research is centered on geodynamics and marine geophysics. Recent projects are looking at the origin of transform fault/fracture zone relief, axial processes at mid-ocean ridges, the links between serpentinization and plate subduction processes, cratonic epeirogeny, numerical exploration of rifting processes, and flow and melting linked to mantle plumes and plume-rift interactions. My students and I have also been working recently on projects to improve our computational tools for geodynamic process modeling.
