In the episode Prof Olusoga investigates the residents of Number 10 Guinea Street from the end of the 18th century until the 1870s. Prof Hamlett is featured discussing the life of a domestic servant named Hester Gray who lived in the house during the mid-1800's and her experiences of domestic violence.
