An opportunity for dialogue and learning about different models of parental advocacy in child protection

PFAN (Parents Families and Allies Network) and the Department of Social Work, Royal Holloway University of London are pleased to announce a one-day conference on the development of parent advocacy in children’s social care in the UK.

Parent advocates and their allies from across the UK will present different forms of parent advocacy – from grassroots activism to advocacy within local authority children’s social care departments. By coming together, parents and allies, we will have the space to learn from and connect with each other.
