A networking event addressing the risks and benefits of social media for young people, organised by the Department of Psychology

This event is an in-person networking event in the Gowar and Wedderburn buildings, addressing the risks and benefits of social media for young people. This will follow a series of five online workshops, including the presenting of research findings, practical insights, and group discussions to equip educators with the knowledge and tools to navigate social media's complexities.

The networking event will foster collaboration and knowledge exchange between researchers, a charity (Surrey Youth Focus), and educational professionals. The event is open to any educators and practitioners working with young people, including those in primary and secondary school settings.

Please note that this networking event will take place on Wednesday 6 November.

For any questions about the event, please contact Dr Beatrice Hayes from the Department of Psychology at Beatrice.Hayes@rhul.ac.uk
