Ahead of the start of the new academic year, both new and returning Royal Holloway students are reminded of their responsibilities as members of the local community.

Bagnnewsletter

The University is encouraging all students living in the local community to follow its  which remind students about their continued responsibilities as members of the community. Every year, the Wellbeing team at Royal Holloway works to share guidance with students on how to be a good neighbour.

Flyers are delivered to each household during September, including links to the University’s digital Be a Good Neighbour Guide. In addition to the written guide, we have developed new short-form video content on key topics for students.

These short videos, featuring our Royal Holloway Students’ Union Sabbatical Officers, remind students of the importance of their role as part of the local community with tips on minimising household and transient noise, responsible management of refuse & recycling, appropriate car use and parking. We’re keen that our students settle into their halls and homes in a safe and considerate manner and become good neighbours to you all.
