RHC70s Alumni Reunion 2019

RHC70s Alumni Reunion 2019

14-15 September 2019, Egham campus

Join us for a reunion of alumni who attended Royal Holloway between 1965 (when male undergraduates were first admitted) and 1985 (when the merger with Bedford College occurred). Those fortunate to attend during this unique period in the College’s history can now get together again on 14-15 September 2019 to enjoy a weekend with other alumni from the same period.

Format
The event will follow a similar pattern to those held in 2010, 2013 and 2016. The Saturday activities will include campus tours, a 70s quiz, an open-mic event, evening meal and 70s disco (or quieter alternative) in what remains of the old Cameron and Athlone halls.

Tickets and registration
Early bird tickets (available until June) are £42 which will include all the Saturday activities listed above – please book your tickets as soon as possible using the form below so we can plan for the right numbers.

The Alumni Relations Team will be taking bookings on behalf of the RHC70s reunion organiser, Jon Cutter (Computer Science & Mathematics, 1974). The names, subject studied and graduation year (for alumni) associated with each ticket together with the bookers email address will be passed to Jon to enable him to send a draft badge for the event for you to check. He will also receive the name you had as a student (if different) and the first year you attended College, together with city / country of residence according to our records. If you would prefer that this additional information is not sent to Jon, please contact the Alumni Relations Team prior to registering.

Accommodation
Overnight accommodation is available on campus which can be booked online at a preferential rate using the promotional code: RHC70s. All accommodation bookings include a Sunday morning breakfast in Founder's Dining Hall.

Heritage Open Day
On Sunday 15 September, the College is hosting its annual Heritage Open Day so there will be plenty more opportunities to look around campus, including the Picture Gallery. A series of ticketed tours will also be available, bookable on the day.

More information about the RHC70s reunion can be found on www.rhc70s.org. If you have any questions about the event you can contact Jon Cutter at jon@rhc70s.org.
