We accept around 45 undergraduate students every year, across a wide range of 3-year (BSc) and 4-year (MSci) single honours degrees. All of our degrees have been accredited by the Geological Society as a fast track route to Fellowship with professional recognition as a Chartered Geologist. Furthermore several of our courses can be combined with either a year in a foreign university or a year in industry.

Our compelling course curriculum is underpinned by our cutting-edge research which means you will be in touch with the very latest developments in our research areas of:

• Climate, Ocean and Atmosphere

Teaching is supported by an extensive fieldwork training programme with field studies in the UK and Europe,  which really brings our courses to life.
