Student Satisfaction: The 2022 National Student Survey (NSS)

  • 84% overall satisfaction reported by our students
  • The department was in the top quarter of more than half of all categories.

Research Excellence: The 2021 Research Excellence Framework (REF)

  • 98% of research our outputs were graded as either world-leading (4*) or internationally excellent (3*)
  • The department was Top 10 UK for research output quality
