Stories from the UK environmental movement 2005-2020: an open workshop
- Online event – register on Eventbrite
- Free
Are you aged 18-30 and involved in the environmental movement? We want to hear from you!
We’re creating an oral history archive of the UK environmental movement, recording the stories and perspectives of the people committed to transforming the world in which we live. As part of our project, we want to talk to people who have become active in the environmental movement from 2005 onwards.
This workshop is an open invitation to shape the archive we’re creating. What are the most important stories to tell? Whose voices haven’t been heard? What has the environmental movement achieved, and what needs to happen next?
We’re interested in all aspects of environmental action, from the spikiest direct action to the least glamourous grunt work, from international policy negotiations to local food projects. If you’ve been involved in work on biodiversity, the climate crisis, energy, pollution, food justice, transport, or any other environmental projects, we want to hear from you!
We welcome the widest diversity of voices, so if you are Black, a person of colour, a migrant, QTI, working class, or disabled, please join us.
Register for free on Eventbrite.
Please contact Saskia Papadakis with any questions about the event.
