Gentrification is a constant in today's rapidly urbanising planet. From the slums of Manilla to the high rise luxury flats of Manchester, gentrification has become a very difficult concept to pin down and analyse. In this lecture, Dr Oli Mould gives an introduction into the current debates about gentrification and how it is related to and helps to create, the global city.
