Environmental change, flood hazard and management in 21st Century Britain – Don Thompson

The catchment hydrological cycle controls the flow of rivers and distribution of water resources.  This session will explore some of the ways in which land use changes and human-induced climate change may change flood hazard on our rivers in the 21st century, and some recent attempts to combat flood risks using sustainable interventions.
