Research

The Department of Health Studies is a hub for world-leading research, knowledge exchange and public engagement.

Our young and dynamic department builds on world-class research and interdisciplinary collaborations between Health Studies and a number of departments and schools at Royal Holloway, as well as leading health and environmental organisations. These include Royal Botanic Gardens, Kew and the Harvard-led Planetary Health Alliance whose Northern European Hub is coordinated from Royal Holloway.

We are a member of CHAP, an Agri-Tech Centre funded by Innovate UK. CHAP brings together leading scientists, farmers, advisors, innovators and businesses to understand industry challenges, drive research and innovation and develop and trial solutions that transform crop systems.
