Professor Rita D’Alton - Harrison was invited as a keynote speaker to the inaugural international conference ‘Black and Brown in Bioethics’ which took place at Bristol University on 9th April. Rita gave a talk on ‘Implementing Inclusive Bioethics in Research and Practice’ and spoke of the double consciousness of bioethics and the need to integrate race ethics to truly rebirth bioethics as a philosophy. The conference took place in a hybrid format with contributions from scholars across the world including Canada, USA, France, Italy, Germany, Finland as well as South Africa, Kenya, Nigeria, USA, Qatar, Pakistan, Thailand and Malaysia.
