Institute of Mathematics and its applications

The Institute of Mathematics and its applications is a chartered professional body for mathematicians in the UK. The university degree course accreditation enables graduates to readily demonstrate the attainment of educational requirements for professional registration.

The Head of Department, Prof Iain Moffat, comments:  "I am delighted that our degree courses have been reaccredited by the IMA. At Royal Holloway we are committed to providing an excellent education in Mathematics, ensuring that our students gain the skills and experiences that are highly valued by employers. The professional recognition by the IMA offers employers additional confidence in the high quality of our graduates."
