Can I apply to Royal Holloway through clearing?
What is the institution name, code, and campus?
For UCAS purposes, Royal Holloway is recognised as RHUL, code R72. We have no campus code as we are based on a single campus.
Can I defer/un-defer my year of entry?
In most cases, yes. Simply email firstname.lastname@example.org to request a deferral.
Please note, we don’t normally defer places more than one year. Places obtained via clearing may not be eligible for a deferral.
I would like to visit Royal Holloway as an exchange student, is this possible?
I have international qualifications. What are my entry requirements?
What are the English language requirements?
English language requirements vary between departments and courses
What happens if I don’t meet my offer conditions?
If you miss the offer by a reasonable margin, your application is referred back to the department to be reconsidered. We will then contact UCAS with a decision. If you are unsuccessful, you will then be released to your insurance choice or into clearing.
I have a question about the course. Who should I contact?
For any course related questions, contact your department admission tutor
For any application related questions email email@example.com
Or call our admissions team on +44 (0)1784 414944
Can I be considered for an alternative course?
Email the Admissions Office firstname.lastname@example.org to request a change.
If your new course is for a very different subject, please include a new personal statement about why you want to study this new programme. The Admissions Office will then consider your request and contact you by letter.
This does not jeopardise your original course offer. Once a new offer is made, this will replace your original one.
How is my fee status assessed?
You will be assessed on the information supplied on your application by a fully trained member of the admissions team. If you disagree with your assessment, you can complete a fee status questionnaire and return it to the Admissions Office.
When can I have my CAS reference number to apply for a visa?

- You have accepted us as your Firm choice
