The Royal Holloway American Excellence Scholarship was formerly known as The American Foundation for Royal Holloway and Bedford New College (AFRHBNC) Excellence Scholarship. Thanks to kind donations from our American alumni over the past decade, the scholarship has supported over 30 US citizens at Royal Holloway to achieve a wide variety of postgraduate degrees ranging from MA Creative Writing to MSc Machine Learning.

The scholarship is available to students from the United States with outstanding academic ability who intend to study any taught Masters course at Royal Holloway. The £3,000 provided by the scholarship relieves some of the financial burdens of overseas study, giving recipients more breathing room to focus on their studies and participate in the myriad of student societies and activities on offer to make the most of their experience at Royal Holloway.
