Our Royal Holloway community of scientists are addressing the key issues facing the world today and what needs to be done to build a better world.
We offer high quality teaching and research, and a commitment to supporting our students to succeed. This is reflected in the consistently high scores for student satisfaction our departments receive in annual National Student Surveys, and high levels of graduate employability.
The majority of our science departments hold Silver or Bronze Athena SWAN Awards, recognising the diversity and inclusiveness we encourage in our staff and student community and an equality ethos that remains true to the principles of our founders.
At Royal Holloway our science departments are grouped into two Schools, these are:
The School of Life Sciences and the Environment
Departments in the School include Biological Sciences, Earth Sciences, Geography, Health Studies and Psychology.
