From visiting bands on campus to concerts, gigs and festivals in nearby towns and cities, if music is your thing then there's plenty to enjoy while you're at university.
Royal Holloway's music highlight of the year is the Summer Ball, held in the grounds of our magnificent Founder's Building, with recent line-ups including Mabel, Rudimental, Chase & Status and Stormzy. But there's plenty to enjoy off campus too, with live music, open-mic nights and nightclubs in local towns like Egham, Staines, Richmond and Windsor, and all the musical entertainment you could wish for just a train ride away in the capital.
Here are some ideas for live music at Royal Holloway and beyond:
- Reading Festival
- Regular themed nights at our Students’ Union
- Royal Holloway Summer Ball
- Live events at Ascot
- Nightclubs in Windsor
- Live music in London venues including Wembley Stadium; the SSE Arena, Wembley; the Royal Albert Hall and the O2
