If you have a passion for visual arts, film and culture, the Department of Languages, Literatures and Cultures is the place for you! You can combine your studies in the Department with History of Art and Visual Culture.

If you are taking Comparative Literature and Culture (CLC) or Modern Languages, , you can combine your studies with History of Art and Visual Culture either as Joint Honours course, or as a minor.

Both the joint and minor courses engage with key phases in the development of the visual culture of Europe, AmericaLatin America, equipping you with the skills to read, interpret and analyse images and artefacts across periods and cultures.
